The new 90-unit apartment community will be constructed on a 7.35-acre site. Designed to provide high-quality, affordable housing, the development will offer 72 units for households earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and the remaining units for those earning up to 30% of AMI, as determined annually by HUD. The site design prioritizes a communal atmosphere with a walking trail, outdoor fitness equipment, and a playground, all set within a landscape of native plantings that enhance sustainability and provide year-round interest. As part of an innovative pilot program, 18 units will be dedicated during the first three years to supporting individuals who are high utilizers of crisis services. This initiative pairs permanent supportive housing with comprehensive behavioral health services, leveraging collaborative funding and service strategies to establish a replicable model for integrating healthcare and housing solutions. By combining thoughtful landscape design with sustainable, community-driven planning, the development aims to create a lasting, positive impact on residents and the surrounding neighborhood.
