Principal, Founder
Preston is a landscape architect with nearly 15 years of experience in the design and management of projects ranging from intimate garden spaces to large-scale public parks and multifamily developments. He has a proven track record of collaborating with clients to craft functional, site-responsive landscapes. His expertise spans park and infrastructure design, campus planning, residential and multifamily development, and garden design. Over the years, Preston has led multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, ecologists, and construction managers, ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Preston is licensed in Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, New York, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Before founding Linck Landscape Architecture, he honed his skills at the esteemed firm Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates in Brooklyn, New York, contributing to a variety of high-profile civic spaces across the United States. He also gained invaluable experience at Bluegreen in Aspen, Colorado, and Group 4 Design in Jacksonville, Florida. In his personal time, Preston enjoys pottery, cycling, and hiking, drawing inspiration from the natural environments he encounters.
